THE PROBLEMS OF RAW MATERIAL IN PAINT INDUSTRY IN ZUMBA AND MACOS PAINT ONITSHA.
This work was centered on the problems of raw materials in paint n industries a case study of zumba and macos paint Onitsha. Five hypothesis were formulated in chapter one. The hypothesis were used to formulate the questionnaire which were used in chapter three of this project, 50 questionnaire were used and share equally between these two industries, Oral interview format were also used for carrying out the research. The method used in analysis the data was simple percentage. Moreover, within the scope of the hypothesis Statement, it was found out that had equate supply of raw material pose problems to production of paint in Onitsha, despite that cheap source of raw materials leads to increased productivity, cheaper product and high quality of goods, importation of raw material leads to paint industry producing below installed capacity, inadequate supply of raw materials leads to paint industry producing below installed capacity, inadequate supply of raw materials is key factor that influence closure of pain industries in Nigeria and Government policy has a significant influence on the supply of raw material to paint industry, then within the constraint, of this study, the research gave recommendation as a result of the problem enumerated above. In conclusion, inadequate supply of raw materials pose problems to the production of paint in Onitsha and this was accepted by the respondents and hence government should formulate policy that ensure easy access to raw materials and encourage local sources of the raw materials. Managing employees in an organization is a function which everyone has control over others share in human resources management. Its mistake be left to specialists alone because human materials resources are more difficult to manage than material resources as a result of the conflict between the employers and employees wishes so, for a manager to be successful he must be involve in the effective planning. Organizing, influencing, co-ordinating and controlling of employees and must also understand and be able to use personal management techniques and in addition have some knowledge of the principles in industrial psychology on which they arte based. He must be aware of the result of psychological studies of the employee as an individual or a member of a working group and a person whose behavior is influenced to some extent by his technological environment. This research work is clearly designed to give managers or those who especially are concerned with human resources management workers to greater performance. To ensure analytic and logical presentation this research is organized in five chapters. Chapter one introduces the subject of the study and also gives a brief history of the company of study highlighting the purpose of the study problems, scope, limitations and definition of terms. Chapter two is the review of past literatures which is made up of contribution by well renewed authors and academicians. It also has some prescribed motivation techniques. Chapter three is the research design and methodology and gives a description of the research instruments, sources of data collection and methods, sample size and method of statistical analysis. Chapter four is the presentation and analysis of data based on the responses to the questionnaires. Chapter five forms the summary of findings, recommendation and conclusion.

AN ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMPANY’S TURNOVER GROWTH RATE AND SHAREHOLDERS RETURN ON INVESTMENT IN THE CONGLOMERATE INDUSTRY (A CASE STUDY OF DANGOTE PLC.
From the title of this project work, we find out that the aim of the study was to determined the relationship that exist between company’s turnover growth rate and share holder return on investment in conglomerate industry. The literature review suggests two relationships based on firms’ management goals. This relationship will be positive linear or direct relationship after optimal sales growth rate. In this research work the method used in sourcing data was the administration of questionnaires and the interview which was analyzed. The finding revels that an efficient work force contributes to the positive returns on investment. Recommendations were made for the management to adapt more effective approach either with the use of new innovation or technological device to ensure or enhance profitability in the industry and share holders should have knowledge of management activities to see whether it is consistent with their own investment goals or not. In this research work it was discovered that there is relationship between company’s turnover growth and shareholder return or investment. It was also found that investors will get positive return from their investments where a sale is positive. The research work also identified that for investors to get positive return from their investment, the enterprise has to strive hard to increase its sales and profit ability level. Research also contains that an efficient work force contribute to the positive return on investment.
